Sword Polishing Studio
About Myself
I am specialised in Batto Polishing (抜刀研ぎ) and Iai Polishing (居合研ぎ) for Japanese swords.
Unlike other polishers who treat Japanese swords as artworks, I mainly focus on enhancing the sharpness and cutting ability (切れ味) of the swords as a weapon.
Being a Japanese Swordsmanship student myself, I understand what is required for being a good cutting sword, which is sometimes very different to "looking good". Therefore I can apply the best techniques according to each sword's condition and steel quality to achieve its maximum cutting power.
